1. How do I book a supply teacher?

You can book supply cover by using our online booking form, emailing us, or calling us directly. We also operate an early-morning service from 6:30am for urgent same-day requests.

2. What checks do you carry out on your staff?

All staff we supply are fully vetted with:

  • Enhanced DBS check

  • Barred list check

  • Right-to-work verification

  • Two professional references

  • Qualification checks (if applicable)

  • Suitability interview

We follow strict safer recruitment practices and maintain detailed compliance files for every candidate.

3. How quickly can you provide cover?

For same-day absence, we respond immediately and usually confirm cover within minutes. For planned cover, we aim to secure the right person as early as possible.

4. Do you supply unqualified teachers or cover supervisors?

Yes — we supply cover supervisors, instructors, and experienced unqualified teachers who can confidently lead a classroom.

5. Do you provide long-term placements?

Yes. We provide short-term, long-term and fixed-term placements for primary, secondary and SEND settings. Many schools also request staff with a view to permanent employment.

6. What areas do you cover?

We cover the North West of England, including Liverpool, Manchester, Preston, Blackpool, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, and surrounding areas.

7. How much does it cost to book a teacher or TA?

Our rates are fair, competitive and fully transparent. Prices vary based on role, experience and length of placement — contact us for a quick quote.

8. Do I need to be a qualified teacher to register?

No. We accept:

  • Qualified Teachers (QTS)

  • ECTs

  • Unqualified teachers / instructors

  • Cover supervisors

  • Teaching assistants

  • HLTAs and LSAs

  • SEND support staff

9. How do I register for work?

Simply complete our online registration form. Once we receive your details, we’ll contact you to arrange a short onboarding process and compliance checks.

10. What documents do I need?

Typically:

  • CV

  • Photo ID

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

  • Proof of address

  • Right-to-work documentation

  • Qualification certificates (if applicable)

  • Details for two referees

11. How often will I get work?

This depends on your availability and flexibility, but many of our staff work several days a week. We supply a high number of schools across the North West.

12. When will I be paid?

Most candidates are paid weekly. We will confirm the exact payment method during your registration.

13. Can I choose which days I work?

Absolutely. You can work as often or as little as you like — day-to-day, short-term or long-term roles are available.

14. Do you offer support for new supply teachers?

Yes. As a teacher-led agency, we provide guidance, tips and ongoing support to help you feel confident in new settings.
